Water Resources Management
The Company’s main operational site is located in the Hsinchu Science Park, with Baoshan Reservoir as its primary water source. The associated water resource risk is assessed as low to medium (1–2). As an IC design company, we do not require large volumes of water; most usage is for general daily needs and limited facility operations such as kitchen use and cooling towers. Only domestic wastewater is generated within the site, resulting in an extremely low risk of water pollution.
The Company’s water consumption inventory covers both the Hsinchu and Zhonghe offices. The water usage statistics for the past two years are as follows:Item \ Year 2024 2023 Discharge Volume (million liters) 2.158 2.993 Organization-Specific Metric (Unit) Total Revenue (NT$ million) Total Revenue (NT$ million) Organization-Specific Metric Value 2,716.085 2,656.692 Water Intensity 0.0007 0.0011
